Find Out About Friday - How to Make a Bunny Ears Treat Bag, a craft project you could do with kids

For this week's Find Out About Friday I thought I would share an easy Easter Project that is fun to make and fun to receive - you could even get the whole family involved in making them and they would make a great Easter Holiday activity with the kids.   Bunny Ears Treat Bags which you can fill with the Easter Treat of your choice.

For this project you are going to need a paper bag, I have used the Tag a Bag Gift Bag from Stampin' Up!.  Start by gently folding the bag in half.  Draw this shape on the bag, coming to a point on the outside edge of the bag.

Keeping the bag gently folded cut along the line so you get this shape when you unfold it.

Punch two large white circles and two smaller dark circles for eyes and a small scallop circle in pink for the nose.  You can find suitable punches here.  Put some thread behind this for whiskers.  Your bag will now look like this.

Fill your bag with your treats (oh go on then, one for the bag, one for you!).  Next take some ribbon and tie it around the bag, just under the cut out ears.  Once you have tied the bag, open out the 'ears' and turn them towards the front.

I hope you will have fun making these treat bags and that you also have fun giving them
